MaxPreps.com, a CBS-owned company based in the Sacramento, CA, area, will be providing full scholastic volleyball coverage in all 50 states for the first time in the fall of 2007. For Connecticut, this means every program in the state will be provided with its own free web site, a site on which schedules, game-by-game results and rosters can be posted. The package also includes a complete and easy-to-use online statistical program for each team, through which coaches, assistant coaches and managers can input and compile team and individual statistics for each season.

The MaxPreps system (www.maxpreps.com) will automatically generate updated conference standings, conference statistical leaders, state statistical leaders and state rankings. Teams may even electronically generate match summaries following each contest to their local newspapers using MaxPreps. There are added features that teams may use to produce professional-looking game programs and coaches daily planners.

All-conference and all-state voting will be made considerably easier by MaxPreps, since all player statistics and all other pertinent information will be readily available online at the conclusion of the season. Player and program information will also be available to interested college coaches and to newspapers.

Individual volleyball web sites on MaxPreps will be enhanced further by stories and photo galleries produced by staff writers and photographers.
